The Inner Terai Subtropical Lowlands of the Chitwan, Makwanpur, Parsa, and Nawalparasi Districts are home to Nepal's First National Park, which was established in 1973 AD. The height above sea level is 110 to 850 metres. The Rapti and Narayani Rivers, the Parsa Wildlife Reserve, the Madi Settlements, and the India Border form the northern, eastern, and southern boundaries of the park, respectively. In the Terai, a subtropical region in southern Nepal, there is a wealth of natural beauty. The park is home to 126 species of fish, 68 kinds of mammals, 544 species of birds, 56 species of herpetofauna, and 68 species of mammals. The park is particularly well-known for the One Horned Rhinoceros it protects, the Royal Bengal Tiger population density, and its suitability as a habitat for the critically endangered Gharial Crocodile.
The Travel Adventure Nepal representative welcome guest at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu with the company logo displayed on the handheld signage board outside the airport terminal. After Breakfast, we will drive to Chitwan. Lunch is Served in Chitwan Resort Hotel. After Lunch one of the Guide from Resort will Brief the upcoming Activities that is waiting for you at Chitwan. Sightseeing around the Tharu Village (The Ethnic Tribe of Chitwan) and Sunset View from the Bank of Rapti River. In the early evening the local Tharu dance troupe may perform a cultural program. You will then enjoy dinner then you will be free to relax and get your favourite drink from the bar and discuss the sightings of the day or listen to the exotic sounds of the jungle at night.

Our first day as a wildlife tour will start with canoeing in Rapti River. A canoe is a small narrow boat made up of trees (While making these boats, sustainability of nature is carefully considered). We embark on our journey with morning breeze of Rapti river where you can see Crocodiles basking in the bank of river (GHARIYAL and MARSH MUGGER), different kind of Birds and if lucky enough One horn Rhino and Royal Bengal Tiger. Down the river, we will make a stop at the canoe end point where your jeep will be waiting for you. From this point, our safari will be on 4 WD open safari Jeep. Be very sharp, now we will be heading towards deep forest of Chitwan National Park in search of Wildlife.
Chitwan National Park is home to Great Indian One Horn Rhino, Royal Bengal Tiger, Sloth Bear, Wild Elephant, Pythons, Leopard, Deers and many species of Bird. So, Finger Cross. We will take a break in KASARA “Park’s Headquarter” where we will have lunch break. After lunch, we will visit “GHARIYAL BREEDING CENTRE” next to park headquarters. This place is home to an endangered species also known as the Last dinosaur- GHARIYAL CROCODILE.
We will again resume our wildlife excursion into deep forest. The Forest Department is very strict on timing. We have to come out of the national park before sunset. But we won’t drive back to our starting point. We will take the exit to the village next to the National Park. Today our accommodation will be in the local village i.e Homestay. Enjoy the local meal and culture.

Today our journey will be even more exciting. We will drive into the core areas of the National Park. We will cross a number of rivers and riverside areas. This area is suitable for Wild elephants and Royal Bengal tiger, so might be your lucky day. We will also pass through “TIGER TOPS” hotel, the first hotel inside National Park which is closed for years now. Late Queen Elizabeth stayed in this hotel long time ago while visiting Nepal.
We will make a stop for lunch inside the forest. We will wait for some wildlife to see, as our lunch point is near the river and we will be on height, it’s a perfect location to spot wildlife. After lunch, we will make our way back to Sauraha (our Starting point).

Elephant is really an adorable animal. So today we will have a day out with Elephant. After breakfast, we will go for morning stroll around bank of rapti rivers for bird watching. Chitwan National Park is home to 544 birds and many of them are migrants from different part of world. After breakfast, we will drive to the Elephant breeding centre where you can enjoy the beautiful family moments of baby elephants with their mother. We will spend some time in Elephant breeding centre and come back to hotel for Lunch. After lunch, either you can take a rest or stroll around the small town of Sauraha. We then will go for an elephant walk in a small community forest. Elephant is very close to humans and always protect from other animals, so enjoy the date. After spending time with Elephants, we will come back to the hotel and get ready for dinner and afterwards the Traditional Dancing program of THARU PEOPLE.
