    • Location and Accessibility: Bardia National Park is in the western lowlands of Nepal, near the border with India. It is about 400 kilometers (250 miles) west of Kathmandu, the capital city. The park can be accessed by road or by domestic flights to Nepalgunj, followed by a short drive.
    • Size and Terrain: Bardia National Park covers an area of 968 square kilometers (374 square miles), making it the largest national park in Nepal. The park consists of diverse ecosystems, including dense sal forests, grasslands, riverine forests, and marshes, offering a variety of habitats for wildlife.
    • Best time to Visit: The best time to visit Bardia National Park is during the dry season, from October to April. During this period, the weather is pleasant, and the wildlife is more visible as they gather around water sources. The monsoon season, from June to September, brings heavy rainfall, which can make travel and wildlife sightings more challenging.
    • Regulations: Its mandatory to follow the guidelines provided by the park authorities and respect the wildlife and local communities.

The Travel Adventure Nepal representative welcome guest at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu with the company logo displayed on the handheld signage board outside the airport terminal. Airport transfer is complementary that has to be pre- arranged during your trip booking process with your flight details. You will then be transferred to your respective hotel on our private vehicle. 

Note: Pre-trip meeting will be held at our office or at your hotel on the same day. In this meeting, you are requested to bring your passport, 3 passport-sized photographs and a readable copy of your travel insurance, transcript in English language. Also, most importantly, you must sign a legally binding trip form, and a non–liability disclaimer. We will take an early-morning flight to Nepalgunj and then travel by road to Bardia. It is a relaxing trip along the winding road that is continually looking at the verdant surroundings. When we arrive in Bardia, our guide will take us to our accommodation and go over all the information regarding the activities in the jungle. Lunch is served and we will stroll around Tharu Village and visit Elephant breeding Centre and end day with sunset view from the karnali riverbank.

Early in the morning, we will leave the hotel after breakfast for a jungle walk. Get your gear ready. Today we will have lunch in the jungle as the hotel will provide us packed lunch. We will be led by an experienced nature guide in the jungle. Enjoy the view of jungle through wood made tower inside the jungle. We will spend most of our time waiting for tigers or other animals where it is seen frequently.

A jeep safari in Bardia National Park is an exciting and adventurous way to explore the park's diverse ecosystems and encounter its rich wildlife. Jeep safaris are designed to provide visitors with a thrilling and comfortable means of exploring Bardia National Park. All jeep safaris in Bardia National Park are led by experienced guides who possess in-depth knowledge of the park's flora, fauna, and the best areas for wildlife sightings. These guides are well-versed in tracking animal movements and will share valuable insights into the park's ecology and conservation efforts. While the highlight is often the chance to see the Royal Bengal tiger, you may also come across other iconic animals such as Asian elephants, one-horned rhinoceroses, leopards, wild boars, deer, and a plethora of bird species. The guides will help track animal movements and increase your chances of wildlife sightings.

Our program for the day will be rafting. Embarking on a rafting expedition allows you to combine the thrill of navigating rapids with the chance to appreciate the stunning landscapes and encounter wildlife in the region. You may encounter birds, crocodiles, and other wildlife along the riverbanks, providing a unique perspective on the diverse ecosystems of the region. We will make stop in more than 3 or 4 places for sightseeing animals and our lunch stop. We will end our adventure program in Bardia today. Back to hotel and our final program will be Tharu cultural show. Enjoy your final evening dancing and singing with local tribe.

After breakfast we will drive to domestic airport leaving everything behind but memories of unspoiled Western Nepal.  Upon reaching Kathmandu, you can stroll around city for shopping and more sight seen as this will be your last day in Nepal. We will meet for farewell dinner afterwards.
