The settlement of Modi Beni is located where the Modi and Kali rivers meet. Hindus revere this location, where two rivers converge, and the locals regard a large boulder there as a significant temple. Here, a few little rapids that are not too difficult are encountered. The large gorge is then left in the past as the valley spreads. The hills in the area become less steep, and the river loses some of its wrath. Farmers can be seen working on their fields back in civilisation, while children wave from a distance.
We will stop for lunch and we will complete our journey here. After lunch, we will drive back to Pokhara which is around 5 hours drive.
